Travel onward to Delphi through Patras and Nafpaktos, enjoying a visit to the picturesque mountain village of Arachova. Discover the ancient sanctuary of Delphi, the archaeological museum, and the famous Castalia Spring before returning to Athens. Your Greek experience concludes with an Athens city tour featuring the Panathenaic Stadium, Herodion, Dionysus Theater, and the Acropolis Museum.

Itinerary

Day 01 Athens

Arrival at Athens International Airport, assistance and transfer to the Hotel for overnight stay

Day 02 Athens to Olympia via Corinth Canal and Epidaurus

Depart for three-day trip via the coastal National highway for the Corinth Canal(short stop). After the Corinth Canal, drive to Epidaurus and visit the Ancient theatre, then you enter the region of Argolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the afternoon (optional stop for souvenirs) depart for Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, through the cites of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Overnight stay in Olympia

Day 03 Olympia – Delphi

Visit the Olympia archaeological site and the archaeological Museum. Depart via Patras (short stop) to Rion, cross the Corinthian bay by the new bridge to Antirion. Pass by the city of Nafpaktos and from there on, along the coastal road to Delphi , known in ancient times as the navel of the world. In the afternoon visit the picturesque mountain village of Arachova. Overnight stay in Delphi.

Day 04 Delphi – Athens

Visit the archaeological site and the MUSEUM of Delphi. Pass by CASTALIA SPRING, visit at the archaeological site and Delphi museum, with it’s spectacular exhibits include the frieze of the Treasury of the Sifnians, the Naxian Sphinx, and many other artifacts. In the afternoon return to Athens.

Day 05 Athens City Tour with New Museum

The Athens half-day tour, depart for a photo stop at Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. Continue with a pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysos Theater, in order to visit the ACROPOLIS museum. Main attractions such as votives, artifacts of everyday life, statues from archaic period, Caryatids, and of course the Parthenon hall with the metopes, the pediments and the frieze will impress you.

Day 06 Athens

Breakfast and transfer to Athens International Airport at arranged time
