Itinerary
Day 01 Amman Airport – Amman (without guide)
Darna Travel representative will meet and assist upon arrival to Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) Amman. Make all costumes and immigration procedures, passport formalities and Visa handling. Private transfer to the hotel. Dinner (if arrival is before 21h). Accommodation.
Day 02 Amman – Madaba – Mount Nebo – Shobak Castle – Petra
Breakfast , then depar t for Madaba to visi t St . George Or thodox Church and its famous mosaic map of Jerusalem, Palestine, Jordan, Israel, and Egypt . Continue to Mount Nebo, an 817m ridge offering panoramic views of the Holy Land and, on clear days, Jerusalem. Next , visit Shobak Castle, built by King Baldwin I in 1115 to guard the Damascus-Egypt route. Known as Mont Real, this Crusader for tress stands atop a rocky hill, over looking a rugged landscape. Finally, transfer to Petra for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03 Petra Visit – Petra
Breakfast , then visit Petra, located 3-5 hours south of Amman and 2 hours north of Aqaba, on the edge of the Wadi Araba desert . Sur rounded by towering rust - colored sandstone hills, the ci ty was naturally fortified against invaders. The Nabataeans carved temples and tombs into the soft , multicolored rock, creating stunning architectural marvels. Return to the Petra hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04 Petra – Litt e Petra – Wadi Rum (4x4 2 Hrs.) – Amman
Breakfast , then depart f rom Petra to Beidha (Little Petra), a key Nabataean trade hub where merchants f rom Jerusalem, Gaza, and the Phoenician coast once gathered. Explore Siq Al-Barid, a cool, narrow gorge used for caravan stays. Next , drive to Wadi Rum for a 2-hour 4x4 jeep tour through the stunning desert , known as the Valley of the Moon, following the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia. Climb sand dunes and rock bridges before tansferring to Amman. Check-in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05 Amman – Jerash – Amman (Panoramic) – Dead Sea – Amman
Start the day with Amman panoramic to see the old and new parts of Amman, then transfer to Jarash. 2-hour visit of the ancient Roman city Walk the paved and colonnaded streets, and take note of the soaring hill top temples, theatres, spacious public squares, plazas, baths, fountains and ci ty walls. Transfer Dead Sea hotel, 5* Holiday Inn for swimming and leisure, transfer back to your hotel in Amman for dinner & overnight .
Day 06 Departure Amman – Queen Alia Internatonal Airport (without guide)
Breakfast at Amman hotel & check out . Transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for departure.
