Begin your journey in Athens, discovering the city’s highlights and the Acropolis Museum before traveling by ferry to the spectacular islands of Santorini and Mykonos. Enjoy leisure time on both islands, taking in their beautiful scenery and unique atmosphere, before returning to Athens.
Continue to Rome, where your Italian adventure begins with a Hop-on Hop-off city tour. Travel through the heart of Italy, visiting the medieval town of Assisi, the historic city of Siena, and the artistic capital of Florence. Explore Florence’s magnificent landmarks before continuing to Bologna and the enchanting canals of Venice.
Itinerary
Day 01 Athens Arrival
Athens Arrival to Athens International Airport followed by assisted transfer to hotel.
Day 02 Athens
Departure from the hotel in the morning after breakfast for the guided City tour of Athens with Acropolis museum. Afternoon free and accommodation.
Day 03 Athens - Santorini
Departure from hotel to the port of Piraeus for embarkation towards the island of Santorini. Arrival at Santorini and transfer to the hotel.
Day 04 Santorini
Stay on the island of Santorini
Day 05 Santorini-Mykonos
At indicated time, transfer from hotel to port to embark on a ferry to the island of Mykonos. Arrival at Mykonos, transfer to the hotel.
Day 06 Mykonos
Stay on the island of Mykonos
Day 07 Mykonos – Athens
At arranged time, transfer to the port to board a ferry towards the port of Piraeus. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Day 08 Athens - Rome
Departure transfer to the airport. Welcome to Rome! Meet your driver at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Use your 1-day Hop-on Hop-off ticket for the I Love Rome City Tour. Hop on and off at your leisure across eight stops. Spend the rest of the evening at your own pace. Return to the hotel on your own. Overnight stay in Rome.
Day 09 Rome- Assisi - Siena- Florence
Depart at 7:15 AM to Assisi, a medieval town surrounded by ancient walls. Visit the Basilica of St. Francis enjoy a lunch in Assisi. Continue to Siena, UNESCO-listed and famous for its shell-shaped Piazza del Campo and Palio horse race. Later, travel through Tuscany’s countryside to reach Florence. Check in at your hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 10 Florence
Breakfast at hotel and city tour Visit to the Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore, with Brunelleschi’s Dome in contrast to the slender silhouette of the Bell Tower, the Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria, the Old Palace, the Church of Santa Cruz. Lunch in a typical Tuscan restaurant in the heart of Piazza Santa Croce. Free afternoon, optional visit to visit Pisa. Accommodation.
Day 11 Florence -Bologna -Venice
Travel to Bologna, a city rich in culture and culinary excellence. Walk from Piazza Malpighi to Piazza Maggiore, admiring San Petronio Basilica and the Palazzo del Podestà. Delight in a light local lunch, savoring regional specialties. In the afternoon, continue to Venice. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay.
Day 12 Venice
Transfer to Piazza San Marco and discover Venice’s highlights with a guided tour. Visit Doge’s Palace (outside) and cross the Bridge of Sighs. Afterward, enjoy a glass of spritz or prosecco with cicchetti, relax and soak in the atmosphere. Spend the afternoon exploring the city on your own. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay in Venice.
Day 13 Venice -Montepulciano
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by coach from Piazzale Roma to the region that is a symbol of the Val di Chiana wines in Tuscany. After lunch, quick stop to spend some free time. In the afternoon arrival in Rome and accommodation.
Day 14 Rome
Begin your morning with an included “Skip the Line” tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Square. The visit ends in St. Peter’s Square, where you can view the Basilica’s majestic exterior. Spend the rest of the day at your own pace or join an optional tour. Overnight stay in Rome.
