Itinerary
Day 01 Arrival in BILBAO - SATURDAY
Arrival at Bilbao airport or station, welcome and transfer to the hotel. Free time on rest of the day to enjoy the city. Accommodation in the hotel in Bilbao.
Day 02 BISCAY BRIDGE, URDAIBAI, SAN JUAN DE GAZTELUGATXE, BERMEO AND GERNIKA - SUNDAY
Breakfast at the hotel. Along the Bilbao River, we will discover the interesting past industrial in the city. Already on the coast, we will stop to see the Biscay Bridge, World heritage site. Passing through the majestic Castle of Butron, we will reach Urdaibai Biosphere. From the viewpoint, we will discover the secrets of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. Stage for the famous TV series, Game of Thrones. In Bermeo, typical fishing village, we will stop for a walking tour and enjoy their charms. Tasting of a typical pintxo included. Finally in Gernika, we will visit the interesting House of the Assembly and the famous Gernika Tree. We will arrive to Bilbao around 14:30 hrs. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, guided tour of Bilbao with a walking tour of the old town. Accommodation in the hotel in Bilbao.
Day 03 BIARRITZ, SAN JEAN DE LUZ HONDARRIBIA AND SAN SEBASTIAN – MONDAY
Breakfast at the hotel. Guided tour of Biarritz in the French Basque Country. Summer resort for European royalty, we will discover the best views of the city and the most Famous.San Juan de Luz will be our second stop, a charming seaside town. Here we will taste a typical local sweet. In Hondarribia, we will stop in the fishermen's quarter, full of typical bars and restaurants that include some free time. Lunch not included. Finally, we will arrive in San Sebastian for a walking tour of the old town and the spectacular panoramic views over Mount Igueldo. Hotel accommodation in San Sebastian.
Day 04 SAN SEBASTIAN AND BILBAO - TUESDAY
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day in San Sebastian to enjoy the city. In the afternoon, transfer from San Sebastian to the hotel in Bilbao. Accommodation in the hotel in Bilbao.
Day 05 REGION OF THE WINE OF VITORIA AND RIOJA WITH WINERY – WEDNESDAY
Breakfast at the hotel. In Vitoria, capital of the Basque Country, we will start with a scenic tour and then a walking tour of the interesting center and the hull Old. A tasting of a typical sweet is included in a sweet shop , quality Basque artisans. Once we enter the Rioja wine region, we will contemplate magnificent views over a sea of Wineyards. We'll pass through towns and all kinds of typical wineries. In Laguardia, we will enjoy a walking tour of the historic center. It is one of the most charming and beautiful villages in La Rioja. A guided tour of a traditional wine cellar with wine tasting is included. A little time free in Laguardia. Lunch not included. Rest of the day off in Vitoria to enjoy the city. Day 06 VITORIA - BILBAO AND RETURN - THURSDAY
