Day 01 Cairo to El Fayoum and Wadi El Rayan Trip itinerary

Fayoum is the biggest Egyptian Oasis and is considered a province on its own. It takes you about a couple of hours by road to reach the province of El Fayoum located ninety-five kilometers south of Cairo, the governorate of El Fayoum has an agricultural nature, and the crocodile god Sobek used to be their national deity anciently, it owes much of its modern conditions to many reforms directed by Mohammed Ali Pasha about 200 years ago.

On arrival to Fayoum, you will begin your day tour to El Fayoum from Cairo by visiting the village of Tunis and exploring the pottery art school.
